Our business was started in 1978 by Andy after training, qualifying and working in the trade for 6 years.

Over time we have built up a huge customer base in the area and most of our new work now comes from recommendation.

The office is managed by Sue (Andy's wife) who will also deal with your enquiries if we are not available.

In 2005 Chris (the son) joined the business as an apprentice and went on to become City & Guilds qualified, along with Gas Safe and other certifications.  We now work together as partners dedicated to providing an honest, reliable and trustworthy service to all our customers.

We take pride in fastidious workmanship and cleaning up after ourselves, leaving your premises as clean and tidy as we found it.

We are always happy to give help and advice and will try to suggest ways to get you out of a dilemma.

We generally regard ourselves as a maintenance, service, repair and small installation business, as we like to be able to attend customers needs quickly.  Tackling larger jobs can restrict our response time, but we will always try to accommodate any requests received.  Also we do not sub-contract work out, only entrusting ourselves to the job in hand.

All our work is fully guaranteed for 12 months parts and labour and many products we use have further extended warranties, and of course we hold public liability insurance for your protection.

We also take a keen interest in the environment and energy efficiency, using where possible manufacturers who promote this, for example the Worcester Bosch Group and their Greenstar series of boilers.

Our philosophy is 100% customer satisfaction for a great job done at a fair price.

We cover a radius of 10 miles around Hitchin including: Letchworth, Stevenage, Baldock, Ashwell, Stotfold, Arlesey, Henlow, Shefford, Welwyn Garden City, Knebworth and surrounding villages.
